We put on a really good show at Copdock

Getting everything together for the Copdock Bike Show was a lot of effort but well worth it when we got such a good response to our stand.
We were all delighted with how well the show went for us and the weather was perfect with a warm, sunny day and a cooling breeze.
Dave Willis said: “I liked our stand with the little walkway through the middle. I think it worked really well.”
And so did the huge host of visitors who came to see motorbikes from our five franchises in their dedicated display gazebos and benefit from some bargain-buy clothing and helmet offers.
Our large stand’s comprehensive display was boosted by the Suzuki events truck which brought a wide range of the latest models including the new SV-7GX and GSX-R1000R 40th Anniversary Edition ‘Gixxer tribute’ which drew plenty of attention.
We had a more focused approach to sale offers with a wide stock of end-of-line clothing and helmets. It proved a hit with visitors, many of whom went home satisfied with their bargain buys.
We were also proud to support the organisers of the charity show by supplying a Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 as the grand prize in the main draw.
All proceeds from the sale of draw tickets go to SERV Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, known as The Bloodrunners, a charity service of emergency response volunteer riders who provide essential overnight medical transport services to the NHS.
While we go to the show so we can meet people and they can see us, we had an influx of new bike sale leads from the show and sold a handful of models the following week as a result.
“It’s more about being a social occasion and getting out of the showroom.
“We don’t go there expecting to sell motorbikes on the day. We really go to remind people we are here,” said Dave.
“All our team were at the show and it’s brilliant. I spent all day talking to people.”
He said there were fewer motorbike main dealers at Copdock Bike Show this year but that was also the case in the market place.
