Suzuki has announced pricing for its highly-anticipated GSX-R1000R 40th Anniversary edition and unveiled a new special edition Hayabusa and new colours for 2026.
The GSX-R1000R 40th Anniversary Edition arrives in April, priced at £17,599.
Marking the 40th anniversary of the GSX-R range, the new model gets an updated 195PS engine. It includes new crankshaft, crankcases, pistons, connecting rods and a higher compression ratio, to meet Euro5+ emissions standards.
It also gets a new exhaust, updated suite of electronics and winglets to increase downforce at higher speeds.
Three colour schemes pay homage to classic GSX-R liveries with a traditional blue and white model joined by red and white and yellow and matt blue versions.
We’ve already taken one order for the 40th anniversary GSX-R1000R and, with numbers limited, you should act now if you want one.
The new special edition Hayabusa comes in a striking Pearl Vigor Blue with white trim, accents and decals.
The twin stainless steel exhausts are finished with black tips, and a seat cowl is standard.
It is available now, priced at £18,999.
Meanwhile the iconic Hayabusa hyperbike gets subtle updates and new colours for 2026 along with a special offer on Akrapovic exhausts.
The selectable throttle maps have been tweaked to boost low-down torque, cruise control now stays active during gear shifts, launch control has been refined and there is a new battery.
The 2026 Hayabusa comes in gloss black with dark red infill panels or white with blue accents.
Hayabusa buyers can upgrade to the official Akrapovic exhausts for £1,999, including fitting, saving £1,026 while stocks last. The exhausts must be ordered at the time of purchase.
The GSX-8R and V-Strom 1050RE also get new colours for 2026.
The 8R will continue in the trademark Metallic Triton Blue but gets racier black wheels instead of grey ones. A new white version has blue decals and wheels and a metallic matt black option sports red graphics and wheels.
The V-Strom 1050RE – the ‘road explorer’ in Suzuki’s V-Strom 1050 range, alongside the 1050DE ‘dual explorer’ – gets a new grey version with black and red decals and dark red wheels, an all-black model and a stand-out Matt Steel Green with matt black tank panels and black wheels.
