Stylish way to cruise through 2023

Are you ready to cruise into 2023? Mid-size cruisers are predicted to be popular transport this year, boosted by new models coming to the market.

Bike magazine is forecasting renewed interest in compact cruisers which are light, easy to ride, great value and have potent performance without being overpowered.

One of the stars of the low-slung, modest-sized cruiser market is Kawasaki’s Vulcan S which actually outsells the naked Z650, sporty faired Ninja 650 and Versys 650 adventure motorbikes. It also shares its 649cc engine with the retro Z650RS.

We now have the 2023 Vulcan S in stock. It comes in two colourways – metallic matte carbon grey/ebony and metallic flat spark black.

Prices start at £7,449 for the standard version, £8,199 for the Performance model and £8,749 for the Tourer.

Stephan Walker, our Kawasaki sales executive, said the 61PS Vulcan S had always been a popular cruiser and a good seller for Kawasaki.

It’s a bike that people appreciate when they’ve ridden it. They like the adjustable footpegs and handlebars so they can tailor the Vulcan S to their needs. The low seat is ideal for shorter riders too.

“It’s a one-size-fits-all motorbike as there are so many adjustments that can be made.”

The number of cruisers available has dropped in recent years but Stephan agreed that new models coming on stream could revive the trend and make them very fashionable again.
