The latest body-protecting airbag system is now in stock with the arrival of Alpinestars’ Tech-Air 5 Plasma Airbag System.
The new innovative and ultra-lightweight body airbag is engineered to fit seamlessly under a jacket, ensuring a supremely comfortable and adaptive fit and unrestricted movement while providing advanced protection.
The latest evolution in the Alpinestars Tech-Air family, the slimmer-fit airbag provides comprehensive upper body coverage — including chest, ribs, back and shoulders. The CE-certified protection includes a Plasma back protector.
A newly-developed algorithm supports three distinct riding modes — street, off-road and race.
Riders can recharge the Tech-Air 5 Plasma themselves when it has inflated, rather than having to send it away. We also stock the user-replaceable gas canisters to recharge the airbag.
The airbag weighs just 1,530 grams so is more than 25% lighter than the original Tech-Air 5.
The battery provides up to 30 hours of riding time.
The Tech-Air 5 Plasma, available in eight sizes from XS to 4XL, is priced at £699.99 with no monthly subscription.
Particularly popular with track and touring riders, the new Tech-Air 5 Plasma was launched in September and we sold three in the first month.
