Hot on the heels of the new, naked, supercharged Z H2, Kawasaki has revealed its updated Z900, a more affordable fun machine.
The motor is largely unchanged, still packing plenty of mid-range punch, but has had a Euro 5 update including a more efficient exhaust catalytic converter.
Extra electronic wizardry includes all-LED lights, four rider modes, traction control, a smart new TFT colour instrument screen and Bluetooth smartphone connectivity.
The 948cc, inline four-cylinder engine produces 125PS at 9,500rpm and 98Nm of torque at 7,700rpm.
The Z900 will be available in metallic graphite grey/spark black, candy lime green/metallic spark black, pearl blizzard white/metallic spark black and metallic spark black/flat spark black.
Weighing in at 210kg, the Z900 is priced from £8,899.
