Two championship titles for our race riders

POSTED: 29/10/2026

This year’s racing season has come to a close with two of the race riders we help to support celebrating winning titles in their classes.
Fred Mcmullan and Haydon Smith were both class winners with strong performances while Corey Tinker has enjoyed his strongest and most consistent season.

Fred Mcmullan
Fred Mcmullan was crowned the East Midland Racing Association 2026 Lakeside Diner and Bar GP80-450 Champion.
Sitting fourth in the championship going into the final round at Mallory Park with double points on offer, Fred had a great weekend on his Kawasaki 400.
He finished both races second overall and first in class to take the 80-450 title despite riding in only four of the six rounds. He also set the fastest overall lap in race two.
He also raced in the BMW 1000 Mallory Open for the first time finishing both races ninth overall, sixth in class.

Haydon and Nick Smith
Haydon Smith finished the season on a winning streak having won the British Motorcycle Racing Club 2026 2T Engineering Open 500 title.
In the final meet at Brands Hatch the HI-Precision Racing/2T Engineering team rider was P1 in the 2T Engineering Open 500 class in the first three races on the Yamaha TZ250 3YL GP race bike but did not start the final race.
He also finished the season runner up in Yamaha Past Masters class with three second places but did not finish the fourth race after a spill.
Father Nick on the Team Twistgrip Yamaha TZR250 finished all four Yamaha Past Masters races fifth, seventh, eighth and sixth.

Corey Tinker
Corey Tinker finished the British Supersport season at Brands Hatch with a ninth in the Quattro Plant Supersport class sprint race. Gambling on a slick rear tyre in the following day’s race, which turned out wetter than expected, saw him finish 13th.
This season on the Josh Davis Motorsport Ducati V2 has been his strongest and most consistent year so far, finishing 10th overall in the championship standings.
