Track day roaring success and great get-together

What a great event our track day was!
We’ve had so much positive feedback from riders who attended our second exclusive track day at the Snetterton racing circuit.
It attracted 145 riders, a few more than the first one last year, but there was still plenty of room on the track and multiple sessions available both morning and afternoon.
Mark Trench, our dealer principal, summed it up: “What a great event it was. The best thing was all the positive comments from everyone about what a nice, friendly track day and paddock it was.”
What also made the day for him was the way experienced track day riders, including our sponsored racers, shared knowledge and advice with novice riders to help make their experience even more enjoyable.
“Compared to some track days, where egos can run wild, it was a much more easy-going, less pressured event where experienced riders were sharing advice with novice riders.
“We had a huge variance in abilities but everyone just wanted to get stuck in and help each other.”
Riders were split into novice, intermediate and advanced groups for track sessions throughout the day.
It was also good to have seven women riders and we would like to see more at our next track day.
“They really enjoyed it and it was so good to see them taking advantage of our track day,” said Mark.
While the action was taking place on the track we were grateful for the support we enjoyed off it.

We were joined by race riders we support – Corey Tinker, Nick and Haydon Smith, Fred Mcmullan and Matt Finch – and Jemma King, aka @Bikerwithabag, who has been doing some product promotion work with us.
The track day raised £645 for Alzheimer’s Research UK, our chosen charity, with a raffle. Tom Foster won the HJC helmet donated by Oxford Products.
So what now for the next track day? We definitely want to have a third track day next year so will be sorting a date out with MotorSport Vision (MSV), which operates five UK circuits including Snetterton, to fit around next year’s race calendar.
