Suzuki has revealed pricing for its new middleweight crossover which arrives in dealerships in August.
The V-twin SV-7GX will cost from £6,999 on the road.
The new model also gives Suzuki’s proven and popular 73PS 645cc V-twin engine, which dates back to 1999, a new lease of life.
Dave Willis said: “We’re getting a lot of interest in this exciting new addition to the Suzuki range.”
The engine, updated to meet the latest Euro5+ emissions standards, still delivers the same punch and characterful power delivery that has cemented its place as one of the greatest engines ever built. In the 7GX it gets a new magneto, transmission gears, ride-by-wire throttle and new exhaust.
The ride-by-wire throttle means it now also features bi-directional quickshifter, three traction control modes and three power modes. All the information is displayed on a colour TFT screen with smartphone connectivity.
The crossover takes design cues from the range-topping GSX-S1000GX+ and comes in four colour schemes.
The simple pearl brilliant white model costs £6,999 on the road while pearl brilliant white/metallic Triton blue, matt greige and glass sparkle black versions, adorned with extra decals and matching wheel colours, cost £7,399.
The more expensive versions arrive in August, the price-entry model in October.
Options include an 80mm taller touring screen, 25mm thicker comfort seat, heated grips, 27 and 45-litre top boxes, soft side panniers which can be expanded from 15 to 20 litres and five and 11-litre tank banks which expand to eight and 14 litres respectively.
