The sun shone bright for Stonham Barns Motorcycle Show and helped kick-start the riding season.
We took 20 Kawasaki, KTM and Suzuki motorbikes to the event for a static display.
Director Dave Willis said: “It was great. We finally welcomed in the sun for the year after quite a grim April.
“It was the first show of the year and the first time the sun has really come out. We were bathed all day in glorious sunshine which led to a good turnout so it was pretty busy.”
We also had a good turnout from the Orwell team and welcomed retired sales executive Paul Macaree to a chat with customers.
The warm, sunny weather helped us sell a few bikes off the back of the show.
“March was quite good for sales with the new 23 plate but then sales dropped off because of the bad weather. The Stonham show was the first really sunny day and kick-started the season.”
Some motorbikes were transported there by van but most were ridden there by Orwell staff so the weather was an added bonus.
“It was also a nice little ride out to the show,” he added.
