Spacious transformation to dress up clothing displays finishes in style

POSTED: 29/10/2026

Our clothing department revamp is now finished and we’re delighted with the spacious new look and the positive customer feedback.

We started planning the new layout in February with work starting in May. It’s been hard work but worth all the effort.

The final part of the redesign involved moving the display of motorbike boots and gloves into the open area in front of our two walls of helmets.

We’ve also split our clothing into designated areas with labelled displays for textile, retro, jeans, heated, ladies, leather, commute and adventure. There will also be an urban section for casual, armoured motorbike wear.

The idea is to make it easier for customers to focus on what they’re looking for.

The sale rail has gone but the good news is discounted clothing will be highlighted in the relevant dedicated section.

There will also be a display for out-of-season, end-of-line clothing which is popular with customers.

Alex White, our clothing and accessories manager who has overseen the transformation, said: “Our revamp is nearing completion. We were very excited to get the helmets on the walls and now we have had time to turn the area in front of them into more of an experience rather than a stock area.”

It made sense to move the display boot shelf units to that area, along with gloves, to bring everything together in one place.

“Helmets, boots and gloves all come together, especially with the aesthetics of our display stands.”

The new layout looks more spacious but actually has one more display stand for KTM-branded products which moved across the showroom to join clothing and accessories.

“It feels more open, less constrained and you can see more because there is less verticality. Layout-wise, we are now where we want to be.

“A lot of people have commented on it. The reception we’ve had about it has been great.

“People can sit down and engage with us more while looking at the boots and gloves because of the layout and where the mirrors are. It has been very positive,” he added.

Oil and maintenance and cleaning products have moved next to the sales counter. They are big sellers and it makes it easier for people to pop in and buy them.

Visit our showroom to see the new clothing department design which will work well too on our late-night opening on Thursday 3, 10 and 17 December.
