Fancy a social rideout for a worthy cause on Sunday 17 May? Sign up for our Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health.
You’ll be joining thousands of classic motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide taking part in the 15th year of the dapper charity ride that day.
Our first DGR ride last year, from our Ranelagh Road base, attracted around 20 riders but it was arranged only a week before the event. This year we hope to have up to three times that number.
The route is being worked out but the plan is to leave Ranelagh Road mid-morning on Sunday 17 May and ride for an hour to 90 minutes towards the coast before finishing at Harvey & Co artisan bakery and café at Bentwaters Business Park at Rendlesham, near Woodbridge.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was started in Sydney, Australia, in 2012. Since then it has raised more than 60 million US dollars for men’s health, with its official charity partner Movember, and attracted a total of 500,000 classic and vintage riders in 121 countries around the world.
Our ride is limited to 60 motorbikes so if you want to join our Ipswich DGR ride on Sunday 17 May you need to register at gentlemansride.com/events/england/ipswich
