We’ve reorganised our management team with well-deserved promotions for two members of our sales force.
Mark Trench moves into the new role of dealer principal having been sales manager for 20 years.
He is succeeded by Stefan Walker who has been our Kawasaki sales specialist.
Director Dave Willis said Mark would now take more of an overview of the business, responsible for overseeing how every department, not just the sales team, operates.
“We needed someone who is hands-on and fully integrated in the business on the showroom floor so they know everything that’s going on.
“Mark ran a tight ship in the sales department, with good communication, and he can bring that experience to other departments as well. He already sorts out a lot of problems for us and is relishing the challenge of getting all departments firing on all cylinders.
“He’s got the respect of everyone.”
He also praised Stefan’s sales experience.
“Stefan will do a good job as sales manager. He is very organised and knowledgeable about the products.”
The latest job opportunities are good examples of promoting people within the business.

Mark has worked at Orwell Motorcycles since joining the business at Barrack Corner to polish and clean motorbikes, when we had only the Suzuki franchise, and then moved into sales.
After 20 years as sales manager, as dealer principal he is responsible for all operational decisions.
Mark said: “I’m looking forward to working with the whole team. That’s what it’s all about.
“I’ve worked with a lot of them for many years and they know how I work and what my expectations are.”
Stefan has 22 years’ experience of motorbike sales having worked at Orwell Motorcycles from 2003 to 2012 before rejoining the family in 2019.
“I’m looking to carry on the exemplary service that Orwell Motorcycles is renowned for.
“It’s a great new challenge and I’m looking to passing on my sales experience to new members of the team.”
