The fast-growing, well-respected heritage brand is a great fit with our Kawasaki, KTM and Suzuki franchises and should bring new customers to the Orwell Motorcycles family.
Director Dave Willis said: “We’re very excited about becoming the local Royal Enfield dealership.
“We’re hoping Royal Enfield motorbikes will start arriving mid to late January.”
The display area for 20 to 25 Royal Enfields will be at the workshop end of the showroom but first we have to create more space with some fairly major alterations to the layout.
That work should be completed this month, ready for the new motorbikes to arrive.
“Royal Enfield fits in very well with our current manufacturer line-up and there are no clashes,” said Dave.
“We’ve had a lot of positive feedback after our social media posts about the Royal Enfield franchise.
“There’s a lot of excitement about it from our customers and from our staff as well.”
The Royal Enfield range is going from strength to strength with the new Classic and Bear 650s and Himalayan and Guerrilla 450s.
“It’s a good time to become an official Royal Enfield dealership with all the new models and lots of interest in the brand.
“This is where the market seems to be at the moment and what people want,” he added.
Our premises will be branded for Royal Enfield in February.
