We’ve now finished revamping our clothing and accessories display area and are very pleased with the way it looks.
We think customers are going to appreciate the logical new layout and open-plan space we have created for customers to try on clothing and helmets more easily.
A new parts desk has been built where there used to be a storeroom. It has helped free up space for a display of more than 160 helmets covering two walls.
The helmets are housed in glass cubes which are being illuminated to show them off properly.
The area that housed the bigger, old parts desk and most of the accessories has also had new carpet fitted.
Clothing displays have been reorganised in brands and helmets are also grouped by manufacturer.
We’ve also reviewed our stock of helmets and now have more open-face options.
Alex White, who oversaw the revamp of our clothing department, said: “We wanted to open up the floorspace. We had had some comments about how condensed the helmet displays were and it was difficult to browse them.”
Another benefit is that it is easier for staff to see customers so they can approach them when they need help with clothing, helmets and accessories and want advice from our expert staff.
We also plan to have a clearly-marked aisle for sale items.
Most of the new clothing is now on show and the latest stock to arrive includes Merlin Mason 2 waterproof riding jeans.
The next step is to create clothing zones, grouping together textiles, leathers, adventure clothing and possibly classic wear, to make it easier for customers to compare similar clothing from different brands on the same display aisle.
We hope you will visit our dealership in Ranelagh Road, Ipswich, to fully appreciate the efforts we’ve made revamping our clothing and accessories displays.
