Kawasaki has revealed a new retro lightweight which joins the W family in January.
Further good news is that it has also announced pricing for exciting new and updated 2026 models.
The newest member of the W family is a modern take on the 1965 650-W1 model.
The all-new W230 motorbike is powered by a proven 233cc, fuel-injected, four-stroke engine.
It produces 18PS at 7,000rpm, maximum torque of 18.6Nm at 5,800rpm and has a six-speed gearbox.
Braking is via a 265mm front disc and 220mm rear one. Twin rear shocks are adjustable for preload.
The 745mm seat height and 143kg kerb weight mean it will also appeal to smaller riders.
The W230, priced at £4,654 and finished in metallic matte dark green, arrives in limited numbers in January.
Kawasaki has also revealed aggressive pricing for new and updated 2026 motorbikes, with revised models getting more kit but costing less.
The new KLE500 adventure bike starts at £5,999 for the standard model with the SE version from £6,599. Riders will also be able to choose from three editions – Rally, Adventure Tourer and a TC edition with a 42-litre top.
The Z900RS, one of Kawasaki’s most popular models, is updated for 2026 including cruise control and up/down quickshifter.
The standard model is now £11,499 and the SE version £12,949, both £300 less than the 2025 models despite the extra kit. A Black Ball Edition is £11,699.
The heavily-revised Ninja ZX-10R, which includes a completely new aero package and face, is priced ultra-competitively at £15,999, saving £1,500 over the 2025 version. The track-focused Ninja ZX-10RR is now £24,799, down £1,000.
Also new for 2026 are the Z1100 super naked at £11,099 and SE at £12,699.
A new Z650 S naked middleweight, an evolution of the Z650, is £7,199.
