Race riders on the pace with strong track performances

POSTED: 30/05/2026

Our sponsored race riders are putting in some strong performances and making good progress on the track.

Fred Mcmullan

Fred Mcmullan has raced at Oliver’s Mount road-race circuit, Scarborough, and Cookstown 100 in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, this year.

His first Irish road race saw him qualify seventh out of 37 and finish seventh with battles all the way through with far more experienced riders on his Honda CBR600R.

He has also raced with East Midland Racing Association at Mallory Park, near Leicester, on his Kawasaki ZXR400, which had sat in a shed for a year. He got a pole and two firsts.

Having missed the first round, he’s sitting second in his class championship.

You can follow Corey Tinker, Fred Mcmullan and HI-Precision Racing (Haydon Smith) on Facebook.

Haydon Smith

Haydon Smith was still leading the British Motorcycle Racing Club’s (Bemsee) new Open 500 2-Stroke Class and third in the Yamaha Past Masters (YPM) championship heading into the Cadwell Park meeting at the end of May.

He had a clean sweep of four wins on Paul Whitby’s Yamaha TZR250 in round two of the Open 500 class at Oulton Park to extend his lead in the championship.

In the YPM class he had two seconds, a DNF and a fourth place on the TZR250.

For round three of the Open 500 at Donington Park he rode Keiran Lewis’s Yamaha TZ250 3YL GP race bike, a machine he had always dreamed of riding.

He came away with three class wins but ran out of fuel run with half a lap to go in the third race after leaving the bike running during a long stoppage to keep it up to temperature.

In the YPM class he also kept up good momentum, and the points rolling in, with a second place and three thirds again on Paul Whitby’s TZR250.

Corey Tinker

Corey Tinker is enjoying a really strong opening part of the season competing in the British Supersport class in the British Supersport Championship, a support series to the British Superbike Championship.

He is riding a Ducati V2 with Josh Davis Motorsport (JDM).

The team has completed the first two rounds of the 11-round season at Oulton Park and Donington Park, coming away with strong results and some top 10 places. It is currently sitting seventh in the championship.

“It’s been great switching from the Kawasaki to the Ducati this year as it’s a stronger bike in the class and suits my riding style well,” said Corey.

“I’m looking forward to keeping this momentum going throughout the year, pushing for the podium position.”
