The reborn Suzuki KATANA sports bike has arrived in the showroom. It’s now part of our demo fleet and it’s a bike that we recommend you take for a test ride to really appreciate how good it is.
Two KATANAs were delivered to us at the end of May – one is displayed in the showroom and the other one is available for test rides. But, with so much interest, we’d advise you book a test in advance.
Priced from £11,399, this modern interpretation of the iconic 1981 GSX1100S KATANA is powered by a 148bhp custom long-stroke version of the 999cc, in-line four that first proved itself in the GSX-R1000.
It certainly proved a hit when a pre-production bike was on display here as part of the national tour but now it’s time to take it for a ride.
Director Dave Willis said: “We are expecting a lot of people to want to ride it. It’s a bike that needs to be ridden to really appreciate it.
“There was plenty of interest when it was here on the national tour and now people can get a feel for it too.”
