The Spada Drifter jeans are attractively priced at £99.99.

Richard Paine, general manager, said it was the first range of AA-rated jeans we have found priced below £100.

“They are a bargain for AA-rated jeans,” he said.

They also have a very clever feature. Concealed, side-entry zipped knee armour pockets on the outside of the jeans allow the protective pad to be removed and replaced quickly and easily. So, when you are not riding, they look like a normal pair of jeans.

They also have hip armour.

The jeans are so comfortable, and such good value, that several members of the Orwell team are already wearing them.

The Spada Drifter jeans are available in blue or black, 30 to 40in waist and short and regular leg lengths. The leg lengths tend to come up long so they will be suitable for taller riders too.
