Prices revealed for new Suzuki motorbikes and luxury scooter

It’s going to be a busy start to 2023 for Suzuki with the launch of five new models.

The range will be boosted by three 125 scooters – Address, Avenis and Burgman Street EX – and the GSX-8S and V-Strom 800DE which debut a new flexible, punchy 776cc parallel twin engine.

Suzuki has now revealed pricing for all the new models.

Having priced the Address at £2,499 and Avenis at £2,699, Suzuki has now confirmed the Burgman Street 125EX will cost £2,999.

The new luxury scooter is powered by an 8.6PS single-cylinder, air-cooled engine and is capable of 148mpg with CO2 emissions of 44g/km.

The 84.3PS V-Strom 800DE is £10,499 and the 82.9PS GSX-8S £7,999. They are available to order now, ahead of arriving in dealerships in early spring.

We’ve had several inquiries since people saw the motorbikes in the metal at Motorcycle Live at Birmingham and expect interest to increase now prices have been released.

The V-Strom 800DE and GSX-8S fit into the Suzuki range between the V-Strom 650 and SV650, which will continue, and V-Strom 1050 and GSX-S1000.

We expect them to be popular because we have a good record when it comes to selling middleweight bikes.

Director Dave Willis said: “We used to sell more Suzuki GSX-S750s than 1000s which made us a bit of an anomaly. I think we were the only Suzuki dealer which did.

“Because we sold more 750s we’re hoping that bodes well for the GSX-8S.”
