Our pop-up shop huge hit at Copdock motorbike show
We had a great day at East Anglian Copdock Bike Show where our fresh approach for the Orwell Motorcycles stand was a hit with visitors.
We took lots of motorbikes, loads of clothing and accessories and several gazebos to the annual charity show at Trinity Park, Ipswich, at the weekend to create a pop-up shop.
We took a selection of new and used motorbikes, but the new bikes were mainly our demo fleet of Kawasakis, KTMs and Suzukis.
We also spent much of Saturday loading vans with helmets, jackets, boots and hats to put on some great end-of-season show-stopping deals which proved very popular with visitors on the Sunday show day.
Dave Willis said: “We had the full support of our three manufacturers last year but this year we decided to take a fresh approach and brought a lot of demo and used bikes, clothing and accessories.
“We had a special show day sale as it is getting towards the end of the season for many riders. We knocked plenty of money off the show stock so there were some good bargains.
“It has done very well. It has been mobbed all day long and our team has been kept busy with customers.”
As well as selling a lot of clothing and accessories our bikes also proved appealing with several potential sales from the show.
“We have had a lot of interest and many details have been taken so I am hoping to get some phone calls in the next few days,” said Dave.
“We have certainly got a few people coming in tomorrow and putting deposits down on motorbikes.”
The sales are a nice bonus because we go to the show every year to get out and about in the biking community and keep in touch with people.
“The idea is to come out, remind people what we are about, and that we are a quality outfit, and meet some old friends,” he added.
“It has been really busy with a good turnout.”
