We are now in top gear preparing for our biggest presence at the East Anglian Copdock Bike Show on Sunday 7 September.
The 33rd annual show at Ipswich’s Trinity Park Showground will see us doubling our exhibition display area for a huge sale of clothing, including special show bargains, the latest motorbikes, Suzuki’s national demo fleet and a charity competition for all the family.
Suzuki is bringing its national demo fleet, which now includes the new GSX-8T and 8TT, to our stand.
It will also bring the new DR-Z4S trail bike and DR-Z4SM supermoto which are launched this month.
The DR-Z4 models will be static display only but the first chance for many people to see them in the metal.
Molly Mizon, our marketing manager, said: “For many people the Copdock bike show will be the first time they will have the chance to see these new models so they’ll be worth looking at.”
We also now have the new GSX-8T and 8TT in our Ranelagh Road showroom.
This year our Copdock competition is in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK, a cause close to the heart of Belinda Dawson who works in our parts department.
Belinda’s target is to raise £3,500 for this charity in memory of stepfather Tom whom she sadly lost this year.
She is training hard for the Ironman Lanzarote 2026 in May, including doing some local runs and races, to swell the charity coffers.
Your role is easier. All we want you to do at Copdock is pay £1 in the competition to guess the value of the prize hamper. It contains motorbiking goodies including cleaning products, inner gloves, a bike cover and clothing.
You can enter as many times as you want at a quid a go and the lucky winner will be announced on Saturday 20 September.
Molly said: “It’s a bit of fun and helps Belinda’s chosen charity. You can guess as many times as you want. Everyone has a quid in their pocket or purse.”
Following the success of a debut clothing sale at last year’s show we will be taking a much larger range of helmets, boots, gloves, jackets and our new Motogirl ladies clothing.
Suzuki’s national demo fleet will be available for test rides from 9am to 5pm. Rides can be booked on the day so bring your category A motorcycle licence, National Insurance number or DVLA check code and appropriate riding gear.
