Kawasaki has revealed a new flagship for its Z Series.
The supernaked Z H2, with its 200PS 998cc supercharged engine, is one of the highlights of the 2020 model year. It marks the second chapter of the Z Series history, which goes back almost half a century, and will lead it into the future.
The supercharged four-cylinder engine’s peak power and torque, 200PS and 137Nm respectively, are the same as the H2 SX sports tourer but maximum torque is delivered 1,000rpm lower at 8,500rpm.
Electronic wizardry and equipment includes high-precision anti-lock braking, electronic throttle valves, a quick shifter for clutchless up and downshifts, launch control to prevent wheelspin, assist and slipper clutch, three-mode traction control from sport riding to touring, three power modes (50%, 75% and 100%), cruise control and smartphone connectivity.
Three colour schemes are offered - metallic spark black/graphite grey with mirror-coated spark black, metallic matt carbon grey with metallic flat spark black and metallic diablo black with metallic flat spark black.
