Our sales team is switching to a new digitised sales process which benefits our customers and business.
The digital document management system, called iStoreDOCS, is designed to digitise, streamline and enhance every stage of the customer sales journey.
Instead of customers receiving a pack of printed invoices and documents, including terms and conditions and warranty, relating to a motorbike sale they will access their personal file online via the Orwell Motorcycles portal.
The new system will be used for new and used motorbike sales.
Customers are used to online service records, rather than a stamp in a book, and this is the next stage of digitising the business.
Our business benefits from not having to find space to store boxes of sale records and paperwork for years. The online system also ensures compliance with sales policies and procedures.
Customers will be able to read documents when and where they want, and sign them electronically remotely, rather than being in the showroom.
Our staff can check all elements of the sales process online to see how it is progressing.
Dave Willis said: “This new document management system takes all the information relating to a sale and keeps it online.
“The standard process makes sure everyone gets the same information and customers can access it through a portal rather than going home with reams of paper. And we don’t have to print the documents and physically store them.
“Now it will be stored in the Cloud electronically and securely.”
Our sales team is embracing the new technology.
Liam McCartney, our KTM sales specialist, said: “The nice thing for customers is that they will have access to their invoices and documents from us.
“It also makes sure all sales meet compliance standards which, in this day and age, is required. It is additional administration but it is essential to do everything correctly by the book.”
