Dave Willis was inspired by Daniel Craig in the 2008 James Bond film Quantum of Solace where 007 leaps on to a Honda Montesa Cota 4RT trials bike, roars off and jumps it on to a boat.
“It just looks like a ratty old 70s dirt bike,” said Dave.
“It was an upright, wide-bar bike and I thought this is what I want out of a bike when cruising around.”
His dream bike became reality five years ago when he acquired his Tucano, a Yamaha XT660 customised by Old Empire Motorcycles.
“It was seeing Quantum of Solace that gave me the idea.
“I’ve not jumped on to a moving boat yet but the Tucano has been from Land’s End to John O’Groats on the Great Malle Rally adventure ride.
“And don’t ask me about my life as a secret agent because I can’t talk about that.”
