What do Suzuki GSX-R motorbikes and Orwell Motorcycles have in common? Customers just keep coming back for more!
We’re enjoying pictures of your Suzuki GSX-Rs you’ve sent us to mark the 40th anniversary of the ‘Gixxer’ in the UK.
We’re sharing them through posts on our Facebook and Instagram social media platforms so everyone can enjoy seeing them.
Some owners have had half a dozen Gixxers, of various generations, and we’re delighted so many of them have been regular customers of Orwell Motorcycles, right back to the days when we were at Barrack Corner, in Norwich Road, Ipswich, before moving to our current Ranelagh Road dealership.
Orwell Motorcycles has played a big part in the Gixxer success story.
Orwell Motorcycles was born in 1983, two years before the first GSX-R was launched in the UK, when former owner Ray Walters took over the Dave Bickers Barrack Corner dealership.
Over the years, Suzuki GSX-Rs have been big sellers for us and it’s good to learn that owners still love them.
If you’re heading to the MCN London Show at the ExCeL over the weekend of 14-16 February, MCN will be displaying an original, 1985 GSX-R750F, to mark 40 years of the Gixxer.
