KTM sharpens 790 Duke ‘Scalpel’ for 2025

POSTED: 28/01/2025

The original Scalpel, KTM’s razor-sharp 790 Duke, gets updated tech, sharper lines and two new colourways for 2025.

For 2025, a new 5in TFT dashboard replaces the 4.5in one and brings new functionality and usability.

Upgraded with the latest graphic and information software, it is faster and easier to navigate.

It works with optional KTMconnect which, via your smartphone, gives access to navigation, audio and calls. A USB-C connection is available for charging your smartphone.

It also allows riders to access KTM’s demo mode, a telemetry screen and an anti-wheelie mode with six settings.

All-new switchgear feels more intuitive to use and is lit when riding in the dark.

The 2025 790 Duke keeps its signature naked aggressive looks with minor updates to the headlight cover, making it sharper, as well as two new colourways – all black and black orange.

A full range of specially-developed KTM PowerParts is available for further personalisation.

For the European market, as well as the 105PS 799cc parallel twin, which now meets the new Euro 5+ emissions standards, there is a 95PS version that can be restricted to 47PS to make it A2 licence-friendly while keeping 87Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.

It retains rain, street, sport and optional track and performance riding modes which customise traction and throttle control settings.

The 2025 model comes with a warranty of up to four years.
