We’re very excited to be making our debut in the worldwide Royal Enfield One Ride event on Sunday 21 September.
We became a Royal Enfield dealer this year so thought we should also celebrate a shared passion of the brand’s motorbikes by setting up our own ride from our Ranelagh Road showroom at Ipswich.
The three-hour event will see riders meet at Orwell Motorcycles at 10am. They will leave at 10.30am for a group ride through the outskirts of Ipswich to arrive at Harvey & Co artisan bakery and cafe at Bentwaters Business Park near Woodbridge at 11 to 11:30am.
One Ride, started in 2011, aims to bring together Royal Enfield motorbike owners worldwide with a strong passion for riding. It is now the largest annual ride that celebrates pure motorcycling.
Last year was the 13th annual event and brought together 41,730 riders on 1,416 rides in 66 countries.
We hope to have around 60 riders on our ride but it could be more. To keep a check on how many riders want to take part, preferably on a Royal Enfield, we are asking them to book a free ticket for our event online via Eventbrite.
Marketing manager Molly Mizon said: “We just want to keep an eye on numbers. So far, 36 have already signed up to our event on Eventbrite but we know of more people who want to come.”
