Highly-limited Brabus 1300 R almost too rare to ride

KTM is claiming the new Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition is the rarest motorbike ever produced.

Just 50 will be available worldwide and KTM is suggesting it is almost too rare to even ride.

Inspired by the Brabus portfolio of bespoke supercars, nearly every single body panel of the 1300 R Masterpiece Edition is made from high-grade carbon fibre.

The limited-edition naked motorbike features an all-new carbon package, striking Frozen Gold accent elements and 17in nine-spoke Gold Platinum Edition forged wheels. Of the 50 bikes, 25 are finished in onyx black and 25 in diamond white.

Power comes from the KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo’s 180hp 1,301cc V-twin engine.

No price is being advertised but the Brabus 1300R Edition 23, limited to 290 units earlier this year, was £36,999.

But, as the saying goes, if you need to ask the price you probably can’t afford it!
