We’ve kicked off a new community initiative by helping to sponsor a girls football team who could become the next generation of female motorbike riders.
The Orwell Motorcycles name and logo now feature on the training tops and back of the home shirts worn by girls who play for Needham Market U14s in the Junior Premier League.
The squad of 20 girls compete in Saturday matches across the Eastern Counties, Home Counties and into London.
Warren Lewis-Claxton, Needham Market Football Club head of female football, said: “We’re very happy.
“The U14 girls’ team was new this year so we had nothing and this sponsorship has helped massively.”
Orwell Motorcycles marketing manager Molly Mizon said: “There are a lot of women bikers these days so sponsoring a girls football team is a nice thing do.”
