Growing demand for motorbike and helmet dash cams

Growing demand for motorbike and helmet dash cams

POSTED: 29/10/2026

Dash cams have been commonplace in cars for years and now motorcyclists are turning to recording footage to relive memorable rides or provide evidence after a traffic mishap.

We can supply several waterproof motorbike action and dash cams to suit a range of budgets and make every motorbike outing memorable or life easier should the worst happen.

A camera could make an ideal Christmas gift for the biker in your life.

At the top of our range is the Mio MiVue M820WD front and rear dash cam, at £299.99, which is wired into the bike for charging.

The cameras have high dynamic recording for sharper images and parking mode. Footage can be backed up to your smartphone or shared via the MiVue Pro app.

We also supply the Mio MiVue MP30 helmet camera, at £169.99, which records front and back perspectives simultaneously.

The Drift Ghost XL comes in two versions, standard at £150 and XL Pro at £250.

The standard version has up to nine hours battery life, the XL Pro up to seven hours recording in 1080p and 4.5 hours in 4K Ultra HD video. XL Pro also has electronic image stabilisation.

Both offer dash cam mode with continuous loop recording while preserving important moments. The Drift Life app allows you to preview footage, adjust settings and transfer videos.

The Riderr Vue Cam, a high-definition action helmet camera designed for motorbikes, costs £89.99.

It can record for up to eight hours, has loop recording and connects to phone or tablet for a real-time viewing, playback or file transfer.

Daniel Williams, our parts and operations manager, said: “Most cameras are just forward-facing but a rear camera will also record dodgy overtakes and contact from behind.

“Most hazards are forward-facing but there are instances where customers have been shunted from behind in traffic and knocked off.

“A lot of people now want dash cams. There is the peace of mind of having a camera and, in insurance disputes, it’s easier if you have camera footage.”

We have cameras in the dealership to show you but please contact us to check delivery time. You will need an SD card for the camera.
