Great gift idea for young KTM fans

Here’s a great way to get young KTM fans on two wheels.

These STACYC electric stability cycles, specially branded for KTM in its traditional orange paintwork, are designed to bridge the gap between push bikes and bicycles and motorcycles with a low seat and twist throttle to manage the power.

Director Dave Willis said: “These battery-powered balance bikes are the ideal gift to help young children grow into the brand.

“KTM fans are very loyal and these electric bikes are a good way to attract a younger market and get them ‘Ready To Race’.”

The battery-powered balance bikes, with quick-change lithium-ion battery, have three power modes – red for slow, yellow for standard and green for advanced riders. They also have a no-power mode so can be used as a traditional balance bike.

They can run for 30 to 60 minutes on a single charge, depending on use, and take the same time to recharge.

Two versions are available:

  • The 16 eDrive, aimed at four to eight-year-olds, has 16in wheels. Speed modes range between 5mph and 13mph. It weighs 20lb (including the battery) and is priced at £874.62.
  • The smaller 12 eDrive, for three to five-year-olds, has 12in wheels and speed settings of 5mph to 9mph. It weighs 17lb (including the battery) and is priced at £751.98.
