Gearing up for the Stonham Motorcycle Show

We’re taking around 10 of the latest Suzuki and Kawasaki bikes to the first Stonham Motorcycle Show on Sunday 12 May.

We are an event partner, along with Ipswich Rider Training, for this new event in the local motorcycling diary. It takes place at Stonham Barns Showground, in Pettaugh Road, Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket (IP14 6AT), from 10am to 5pm.

The Kawasaki range features several new models and we plan to take the 2019 Versys 1000 SE adventure bike, H2 SX SE+ hyper sports tourer, relaunched retro W800, Z900RS, ZX-6R super sport and Z125.

The Suzuki range will be represented with the upgraded DL1000 XT, in its smart white and blue colours which are a reminder of the DR Big bike from the late '80s and early '90s, latest GSX-S1000, SV650 and GSX-S and R 125s.

Please note that the bikes will only be for static display purposes, rather than demo rides.

The show will also include award-winning sports bikes, café racers and choppers, lifestyle products, trade and dealership stands, an autojumble and a CBT training demo.

On the Edge Motorcycle Stunt Trials Display Team, some of the world’s best stunt riders, will perform freestyle tricks and jumps.

And Mark Trench, our sales manager, will also be rocking up with his bass guitar to play with cheesy rock covers band Roquefort.

Show tickets, which can be bought on the gate or from www.stonhambarns.co.uk, are £7 with under 12s free.
