We were sad to bid farewell to Dale Allaton, a valuable member of our sales team, but hope to keep in touch with him as a customer.
Dale joined us two and a half years ago having bought many motorbikes from us over 20 years as a customer.
He fitted into the sales team well and became our Suzuki specialist when Paul Macaree retired.
Now Dale has decided to return to the building trade, working for a plastering company putting in ceilings, partitions and dry lining.
He still plans to pop into Orwell Motorcycles.
“I was a customer for 20 years before I started working here so I will definitely still be coming in and out,” he said.
One of his highlights working with us was a Suzuki track day, putting the latest models through their paces at Mallory Park in Leicestershire, when he had the chance to ride with racing legend and triple British Superbike Champion John Reynolds.
Dave Willis said: “Dale is a lovely bloke. We’re sorry to see him moving on because he got on very well with customers and he was very good at his job.”
