Diary dates for shows and demos
After two years of Covid cancellations and inconvenience we’re hopefully getting back to some sense of normality this year.
We are so confident 2022 is taking a turn for the better that we’re already planning in dealership demo days and local motorcycle shows.
We’re linking them so people can see the bikes at the show and then book a test ride at the demo day which will be held soon afterwards.
The demo day riders will again be accompanied by members of Suffolk Advanced Motorcyclists (SAM) with set routes so we can maximise the number of booking slots.
Test riders will also be able to have a free assessment of their skills and find out more about taking the advanced test.
Last year we only got to Copdock Motorcycle Show but we’ve already got two 2022 shows booked in the diary.
The first will be Stonham Motorcycle Show on Sunday 8 May at Stonham Barns.
This will be a static show but people can book a test ride at our demo day the following Saturday (14 May) at our Ranelagh Road dealership in Ipswich.
We’ll also be returning to the East Anglia Copdock Bike Show at Trinity Park, Ipswich, on Sunday 4 September.
This will also be a static display of our new and used motorbikes but we’ll be following it up with a demo day on Saturday 24 September when bikes can again be booked for test rides.
“The demo day at the end of September will tie in with us selling motorbikes from our fleet.
“I know it seems early to be thinking about the end of the traditional riding season already but after the disruption of the past two years, we want to plan ahead rather than going week to week with the Covid restrictions,” said Dave.
We also plan to support the Harwich Motorcycle Run, and family fun day, which is usually held in September in aid of Essex and Herts Air Ambulance but the date has yet to be announced.
