Imagine coming back to where you parked your motorbike and finding it gone. It must be gutting.
Unfortunately motorbike theft is on the rise.
Figures from motorbike insurance specialist Bennetts show that two of the worst-affected counties for rising thefts are Suffolk and Norfolk.
Its data shows that in February of this year, compared to January, motorbike thefts in Suffolk doubled from three to six. Norfolk saw an even bigger 160% rise from five to 13.
With the new riding season here, chances are you will park your motorbike outside more so why not upgrade your security options.

We can also help if you want to fit a tracking device to your motorbike so, if stolen, it is more likely to be recovered.

Some insurers make additional security devices a requirement of your cover while others give a small premium discount.
“There are benefits to your insurance, and your peace of mind, that when you come back your bike will be there.
“Locking your motorbike up is an easy thing to do. It takes only a couple of seconds. It’s just being sensible.”
He said motorbike covers could also help deter thieves because they hide what’s beneath them.
“Anything you can do to put them off stealing your motorbike is vital.”
