CFMOTO has raised the performance bar by creating the fastest-ever Chinese internal combustion motorbike.
The CFMOTO V4 SR-RR Prototype achieved a verified top speed of 315.82km/h during the China Motorcycle Top Speed Record Challenge at the CCCC Automotive Proving Ground in Shangrao.
It marks another significant milestone in the ongoing development and validation program of CFMOTO’s future flagship supersport platform.
The V4 SR-RR Prototype is an all-new concept motorbike showcasing the next generation of design, power and technology from the manufacturer’s global research and development team.
Mark Trench, our dealer principal, said the new technology being developed with the prototype would also eventually filter down into future CFMOTO models.
“CFMOTO is brave enough to do it. It’s not settling for producing more middleweight engines.
“It’s pushing ahead to show what it can do and this is an example of the technology it is developing.”
The prototype, powered by a new 997cc V4 engine, developed to deliver more than 210hp and a thrilling high-revving character, has been a showstopper since it was revealed.
It also features an advanced lightweight chassis and cutting-edge aerodynamics including active aerodynamic winglets, a first for CFMOTO, designed to automatically adjust for optimum downforce and stability at speed.
