Brandon shapes up as model addition to parts team

Brandon Russell is fitting in well in our parts, clothing and accessories department.

Those of you who follow us on social media will probably have seen him modelling some of this year’s new clothing.

“Richard reckons I have the shape for the clothes,” he joked.

Brandon, from Framlingham, had a lucky break when he was offered a job by general manager Richard.

“I approached Orwell Motorcycles to see if there were any jobs.

“I was lucky because, when I came in and asked, they were about to advertise for an opening so I got in at the perfect time.”

He has been working as an adviser in the parts, clothing and accessories department since January.

“I like to speak to customers and guide them to the best purchases for them,” explained Brandon, 18.

He also hopes to do some video work for our YouTube channel and is working towards his A2 licence. Eventually he would like to get into testing motorbikes and creating content for magazines and websites.

“I’ve always had a passion for motorbikes and had my first when I was four,” said Brandon whose father is a ROSPA advanced riding instructor.

He started on a Suzuki 50 motocross bike, then had a KTM 65 SX and a Honda CRF150R before riding his father’s KTM 250 SX off-roader.

He took to the road, when old enough, on an Aprilia RS 125.

After taking A-levels last year and before joining us, he did some manual labour and works in a restaurant on Sunday evenings.
