Our search for a new member of the sales team has attracted a big response.
We’re starting to work through the applications to whittle them down to a shortlist of candidates for the new sales junior post. If you’d like to apply, you’ll have to be quick because the closing date for applications is Friday 8 April.
With Covid restrictions now hopefully behind us, and sales staff being kept busy with pent-up demand, we need someone on the sales floor who can help to look after customers.
The successful candidate will also do some sales administration tasks to free up sales colleagues.
They’ll also help customers browsing for clothing and accessories, when the parts department team is busy.
It means they will gain wide experience of the sales process and be an important member of the team.
They’ll also be involved in highlighting motorbike handovers on our social media channels.
Director Dave Willis said: “We need someone to take responsibility for some of the tasks associated with bike sales so our sales executives can focus on what they do best … selling motorbikes.
“Sales people inevitably get tied up with bike handovers from time to time but we still want to be able to engage with customers in the showroom – having a chat, getting them a coffee, taking their details and updating them as to when a sales person is going to be available.
“It is all about customer service.”
The position is full time, working 08.30 to 17.30, five days a week including Saturdays, with one day off during the week (negotiable but preferably Tuesdays).
Holding a motorcycle license (full or otherwise) would be an advantage but is not necessary.
A willingness to interact with customers is essential!
Salary will be dependent on experience and current employment.
If you think this would suit you, please email your CV and a covering letter to: laura@orwell.co.uk but remember: the closing date for applications is Friday 8 April.
