All fired up for charity fun at Copdock show

We’re excited about eastern England’s premier motorbike show next month and hope to see you there, having fun and helping to raise thousands of pounds for deserving causes.

East Anglian Copdock Bike Show is at Trinity Park, Ipswich, on Sunday 1 September from 9am.

Now in its 32nd year, the show is run by volunteers and has raised more than half a million pounds for local charities and good causes.

We’ll be at the show in force with a large range of new Kawasaki, KTM and Suzuki motorbikes and all-brand used models. We also plan to take some clothing.

We supplied a Suzuki GSX-8S, the award-winning naked middleweight parallel twin, as the star prize for the main draw and have been selling tickets in the dealership. Show day will be the last chance to buy the £1 tickets.

Dave Willis said: “We’ll be attending en masse with a big display of new and used motorbikes.

“Most of the Orwell team will be there and we’re looking forward to helping the show organisers raise a lot of money for charity.”

The show is also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and customers and make new ones.

Static displays of the latest models from our three franchises will also see the debut of our new gazebo.

As well as main dealer displays, there are trade and club stands, an autojumble, custom marquee, show bikes, food and drink and a programme of arena action.

Racing legend Steve Parrish makes a welcome return to the show as this year’s special guest.

A renowned practical joker and story-teller, he had an impressive career in motorbike racing before switching to truck racing and holding the European and British truck racing championship titles multiple times.

The Ken Fox Hell riders are back, riding their vintage Indian Scout motorcycles on the 20ft high wall of death.

The Two Brothers Racing stunt team will wow audiences on their modified, stretched drift bikes.

Last year they set a world record for the most donuts in 60 seconds but what will the duo bring to this year’s show?

Another favourite is the world’s only Shopping Trolley Dance Display Team. Social media sensation Granny Turismo return to performing stunts on their two-wheel souped-up shopping trolleys.

The thrills continue with Dangerous Steve’s fire and chainsaw juggling, giant one-wheeler unicycle motorbike and blindfold riding in a dynamic act full of stunts.

Admission is £15 for adults, aged 18 and over, with 13 to 17-year-olds £10. Accompanied children under 13 are free.

Weekend camping pitches, excluding show entry, are £25 for adults. Under 18s accompanied by an adult are free.

A family ticket for camping and show entry, two adults and children under 18, is £100.
