The traditional biking season is coming to an end but we’re already looking forward to next year’s Stonham Motorcycle Show.
We partnered the inaugural event at Stonham Barns Showground last year and were impressed by the huge turnout with some 2,500 bikers attending.
So were the organisers who are promising to make the second show, which will be on Sunday 10 May. With even more attractions, it promises to be another great day out for new, existing and born-again bikers and the whole family.
Gary Newland, Stonham Barns events manager, said Stonham Motorcycle Show in May worked well at the beginning of the season, complementing the Copdock show held in October.
“We just want to look at growing our show even further,” he said.
“We had so many people turn up that it took us by surprise on the day.”
The motorbike show filled a niche in the Stonham Barns shows timetable with at least 20 staged over the year, 12 of them motoring-related. This first motorbike show complements other automotive events there including ones for hot rods, American cars, vintage commercial vehicles, Minis and modified cars.
