Rider aids
No, the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R hasn't gone soft. On the contrary, KTM rider aids are developed to enhance the overall rider experience by providing more control in different riding scenarios. More so, ABS, MTC, and RIDE MODES allow you to get the most out of your machine when barreling down the tarmac on your way to the rough stuff.
Offroad ABS
For the 2023 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R, Offroad ABS is automatically toggled when you've selected Offroad or Rally Mode. This means ABS functionality is reduced on the front wheel, and completely deactivated on the rear, allowing riders to slide the back-end into a corner. Simply put - more braking power and control in the dirt when you need it, with the ability to shred the trail when you don't.
Tires
The 2023 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R is fitted with all-new MITAS ENDURO TRAIL rubber, specifically optimized for KTM. These are ideal for riders looking for durability, handling, and mileage on road, but with the added benefit of being able to conquer difficult offroad tracks and trails with ease.
Ergonomics
With tank spoilers and rear side panels slightly wider than the seat, hardcore offroad riding is easier thanks to improved rider movement. This also helps with reduced wear and tear on the seat, while the slim shape of the fuel tank is optimized for precise handling and control when standing on the pegs.
Subframe
Featuring a lightweight and solid construction, the subframe is fully-loaded for adventure. The motorcycle beneath you needs to be built to last. The steel trellis subframe was developed to be compact, lightweight and also strong enough to carry a full load of luggage as well as a passenger under the hardest conditions while extreme adventure riding.

What bikes and what benefit?
The 2024 KTM LC8c range (KTM 790 DUKE, KTM 990 DUKE, KTM 790 ADVENTURE, KTM 890 ADVENTURE, KTM 890 ADVENTURE R, KTM 890 ADVENTURE R RALLY, KTM 890 SMT) can be boosted from 24 months to a maximum of 4 years from the initial take-into-use date.
The 2024 KTM LC8 range (KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R, KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO) enlarged from 24 months to a maximum of 3 years from the initial take-into-use date.
Additionally, the warranty period for KTM PowerParts and KTM SpareParts for ALL street models will be extended to 24 months.
What to know?
The manufacturer’s warranty will extend automatically after the service: you won’t have to do anything. The new date will be provided on the service printout, supplied after the appointment.
The KTM warranty period is associated with the motorcycle, not the owner, and can therefore be used by the new owner in case the motorcycle is sold.
The free warranty extension period is valid worldwide, regardless of the market or territory, but only applies to the 2024 motorcycles listed above.
