The acclaimed DRY2DRY® Trilaminate fabric of the original Hinterland, delivers impressive performance with 10,000mm waterproof and 10,000g/m2/24hrs breathability ratings. Oxford's Trilaminate construction bonds three layers of fabric: a durable nylon outer for protection, a waterproof and breathable membrane, and a soft tricot lining to enhance durability and comfort. An additional C0 (eco-friendly) DWR finish creates a hydrophobic surface, causing water to bead and roll off effortlessly.

The Hinterland 2.0 features a half-placket design over the centre zipper, enhancing wind and water resistance at critical areas while maintaining flexibility at the lower half of the jacket. When ventilation is needed, the placket folds back and magnetically fastens open using only one hand. Unzipping the centre zipper reveals an abrasion-resistant MAXFLOW vent panel that channels airflow along the jacket's length. This, combined with direct ventilation zippers on the forearms and a rear exhaust vent, ensures effective air circulation throughout.

Certified to CE AA standards, the Hinterland 2.0 is reinforced with TPU shoulder sliders for added protection. CE Level 2 protectors are included at the shoulders and elbows, with height-adjustable elbow pockets allowing for a customised fit.

Despite its streamlined profile, the Hinterland 2.0 offers generous storage. Two large side pockets with expandable gussets complement a spacious rear box pocket, all secured with water-resistant zippers. Fit and adjustability are ensured by hook-and-loop straps at the biceps and waist, with a drawcord-adjustable hem to block out drafts. Drawcord with Eyeloks (locking eyelets) at the rear of the collar allow for neck opening adjustments, preventing wind chill and rain from entering.
